Our abilities in property care extend beyond that of bare treatments. Carrying out major structural repairs in walls and large sections of timber is an integral part of our service.  

Walls ties are used to provide simple lateral support to masonry wall panels in conversions, extensions and new building work. Wall ties will contribute to the strength and stiffness of masonry walls and will resist the passage of moisture to the inside of the building.

Wall Tie Replacement

Replacement or remedial wall ties are used in cavity brickwork or blockwork construction where the existing have failed. Holes are drilled into the external course through to the internal course, the new wall tie is then installed.

The wall ties we use are manufactured from stainless steel to avoid corrosion and are either mechanically fixed, resin bonded or a combination of both.

Mechanically fixed replacement cavity wall ties are most suited to structures of known strength on both the inner and outer skin. When the strength is unknown, resin bonded replacement cavity wall ties are most suitable.

In addition to replacement wall ties we are able to install lateral restraints and crack stitching rods.
